About Me

Hey everyone, my name is Joshua Nissan. Most of you know me by my alias “steel” when I play Counter-Strike Source. For those who do not know, I am a professional Counter-Strike Source player from Toronto, Canada. I Started playing CS:S competitively in early 2008. I have climbed the ladders since then and have been fairly successful in competitions both nationally and internationally. I have several notable finishes in European events as well as multiple championships in both ESEA-Invite as well as CEVO-Professional Leagues.

I have played with and against many of the top players in the world and have built a very strong playstyle myself. I have played many different roles including support rifle, entry rifle,  and strat caller. I created this website to share some of that insight with everyone else. The information is here for you to take and apply for yourself so that you can improve as a gamer as a whole. Counter-Strike Source is not so different from other team-based competitive games, or other competitive games in general. Some of the things that I will teach will work on fundamental skills that can improve your skill set in games such as Starcraft 2 by practicing proper habits and understanding the game mechanics before trying specific strategies.
